PhD project

The thesis deals with three main topics:

  1. Computational methods for determining transport parameters such as cell diffusion constants and membrane permeabilities from fluorescence-loss-in-photobleaching (FLIP) images.
  2. Development and analysis of an adaptive, monotone and total-variation diminishing scheme for viscous balance laws.
  3. Simulation and optimization of wind flow and views in a settlement layout.
